What is Permaculture?

Permaculture is a design system for creating human habitats that exist in harmony with the larger natural systems, of which they are but a small part.

Through careful observation and analysis of a site, permaculture offers a framework through which we can design and implement human systems in ways that work synergistically with the existing ecology, creating environments that are truly greater than the sum of their parts.

Healthy, beautiful, and productive environments naturally follow good design.
